How does it handle emotional or sensitive family conversations?
We configure tone and pacing specifically for senior care intake: slower, warmer, no rush. The AI listens, acknowledges what the family is going through, and gives clear next steps. For anything emotionally complex (end-of-life, urgent placement, distressed caller), it routes to your staff immediately rather than staying on the call.
Will it know our care levels, room availability, and tour windows?
Yes. During setup we load your care levels (independent, assisted, memory care), current availability, base pricing or starting rates, tour schedule, and what's needed before a tour (medical history, financial conversation, etc.). The AI works inside that.
Can it pre-qualify families before booking a tour?
Yes. This is one of the highest-value things it does. The AI asks qualifying questions you define (level of care needed, timeline, who's the decision maker, budget range) and books a tour only if the lead fits. Unqualified families get the right resources without taking up a tour slot.
What about late-night family emergencies?
We can configure emergency keywords (fall, hospital, immediate placement, hospice transition) to trigger an immediate transfer to your on-call staff. Non-emergency inquiries get a warm response and a callback scheduled for business hours.
Is resident information handled securely?
The AI is configured to handle general inquiries (tour scheduling, availability, family questions) and routes anything requiring resident-specific or medical information directly to your team. Calls run on encrypted infrastructure with industry-standard security practices. We don't currently offer a HIPAA-compliant tier or sign BAAs. If your facility requires that level of compliance for inbound calls, we can scope it during onboarding.
Can staff transfer in if a family insists on speaking to a person?
Yes. The AI offers transfer at any point in the call. During business hours it rings your front desk; after hours it offers a callback at the family's preferred time and logs it for first thing in the morning.
